Over the years, she served in various capacities within the order, including teaching, community outreach, and healthcare services. Her work impacted many lives, providing comfort, guidance, and support to those in need.


Known for her gentle spirit and warm heart, Sister Lorrilla was a beloved figure in her community. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sister Lorrilla Mabus Walthall will be held at the Mercy Convent Chapel on June 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mercy Foundation to support the charitable works that Sister Lorrilla held dear.
