Born on May 15, 1956, Bill grew up in Springfield, where he attended Springfield High School and later pursued his passion for engineering at Springfield University. Bill's professional achievements were matched by his commitment to mentoring young engineers and fostering a culture of excellence in his field.


Beyond his career, Bill was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife of 45 years, Sarah, and their two children, Emily and Michael. Family gatherings at their home were filled with laughter, warmth, and Bill's famous barbecue skills. He took pride in supporting his children's pursuits and was a loving grandfather to his three grandchildren.


Bill was also an active member of the Springfield Rotary Club, where he volunteered his time and expertise to various community projects. His dedication to service extended to local charities and environmental initiatives, reflecting his deep-rooted belief in giving back to the community that had given him so much.
