the passing of Mrs. Jeannette "Netty" Plant on June 24, 2024, at the age of 82

Born on September 15, 1941, Netty was a beacon of kindness and compassion, known for her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and neighbors. She spent her life nurturing those around her, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Netty was a devoted wife to her late husband, John Plant, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children: Michael, Sarah, and Rebecca. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took great pride in her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

A skilled gardener, Netty found joy in cultivating beautiful flowers and vegetables, sharing the fruits of her labor with her community. Her garden was not just a testament to her green thumb, but also a place where friends and family gathered, creating cherished memories.

Netty's generosity extended beyond her home. She was an active volunteer at the local food bank and a member of several community organizations, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her warm smile and kind words provided comfort to many during difficult times.

She is survived by her children Michael (Emily), Sarah (James), and Rebecca (David), and her grandchildren, Emma, Liam, Sophie, and Noah. Netty's legacy of love and kindness will live on through them and the many lives she touched.

A celebration of Netty's life will be held on July 1, 2024, at the Grace Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the local food bank, a cause close to Netty's heart.

Netty will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
