Remembering Bob Creighton: A Life of Love and Dedication

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my dad, Bob Creighton, who passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Bob Creighton (March 15, 1950 - July 17, 2024): Beloved family man and community pillar, passed away at 74,

Bob was a special man who cared and loved so deeply. Born on March 15, 1950, he spent 74 years on this earth, touching countless lives with his kindness, compassion, and unwavering support. Bob's generous spirit and loving heart were a beacon of light to everyone around him. Whether it was family, friends, or community members, he was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Bob's life was characterized by his dedication to his family and his community. As a devoted husband to his late wife, Margaret, he set an example of enduring love and partnership. As a father, he was a source of strength and guidance, always putting his family first and ensuring they were well cared for. His grandchildren adored him, cherishing the stories he told and the wisdom he imparted.

Professionally, Bob was highly respected in his field. He spent over 40 years as a civil engineer, contributing to numerous projects that improved the lives of many. His colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and expertise, always willing to mentor and support those around him.

Bob was also deeply involved in his community. He volunteered at local shelters, participated in church activities, and was always the first to offer help in times of need. His dedication to service was a testament to his character, reflecting the values he held dear.

In his personal life, Bob had a passion for gardening and woodworking. His garden was a haven of beauty and tranquility, where he spent countless hours nurturing plants and creating a serene environment. His woodworking projects, from furniture to intricate carvings, were a display of his skill and creativity. Bob's hobbies were not just pastimes; they were expressions of his love for life and his desire to create and nurture.

During this incredibly difficult time, we ask that you keep our family in your prayers. Your support and kind thoughts are greatly appreciated as we navigate this profound loss. We find solace in knowing that Bob's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Wake services will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Clayton's Funeral Home, with a Mass at Saint Joseph's Church on Monday. We will post the specific times once they are confirmed. These gatherings will be an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to come together and honor Bob's remarkable life.

A site of condolence has been set up for those who wish to share their memories and express their sympathies. Please visit [Condolence Site URL] to leave your tributes and stories of how Bob impacted your life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to [Charity/Organization] in Bob's memory. This organization was close to Bob's heart and supports the causes he believed in.

Rest in peace, Dad. Your love and legacy will continue to live on in our hearts. We will forever cherish the memories, lessons, and love you shared with us. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your spirit will live on through the lives you touched and the love you gave.
