Claire Lupton, beloved educator and dedicated community advocate, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024

Born on February 18, 1955, Claire's life was marked by her deep commitment to family, friends, and her passions. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her career in education, where she inspired countless students as a beloved teacher for over three decades. Claire's impact extended beyond the classroom, as she touched the lives of many with her compassion and wisdom.


Claire's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 40 years, John, and a loving mother to their two children, Emily and James. Her family was her greatest joy, and she created countless memories filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences.


In addition to her professional and familial roles, Claire was an active member of her community, volunteering her time and talents to various causes close to her heart. She believed strongly in the power of education and was an advocate for literacy programs and children's charities, leaving an enduring impact on those she served.


Claire's love of literature and the arts enriched her life and the lives of those around her. She found solace in books and enjoyed attending cultural events, where her presence always brought joy and intellectual conversation.

A memorial service to celebrate Claire's life will be held on July 7, 2024, at St. Mary's Church in her hometown of Vale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Claire Lupton Memorial Fund, supporting literacy and education initiatives, a cause close to Claire's heart.
